When laying ceramic tiles in a humid environment or an environment with large temperature changes, the drying and curing process of the adhesive material may be disturbed, affecting the bonding effect. For example, in rainy weather, the moisture content of the base and adhesive material is too high, and the evaporation of water in the later stage may cause hollowing. Therefore, ceramic tile paving operations should be carried out under suitable weather conditions as much as possible, and attention should be paid to ventilation and dryness of the construction environment.
The quality of ceramic tile itself should not be ignored. If there is too much release agent residue on the back of the ceramic tile, uneven water absorption, etc., it will affect the adhesion effect of the bonding material and the ceramic tile. Therefore, when purchasing ceramic tile, you should choose products of qualified quality, and check whether the back of the ceramic tile is clean and flat before paving.
